• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the quality of software.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Java development.
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure that software meets business needs and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other members of the development team.
• Work closely with project management to ensure timely delivery of software.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Java development.
• Experience with Java technologies such as J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Struts.
• Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in developing web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with DevOps practices such as continuous integration and deployment.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
