Work you'll do/Responsibilities

Job Description: Requirement for a Power BI Developer who can develop custom reports and dashboards leveraging Oracle and Dynamics 365/Dataverse data connectors. A strong candidate will possess experience in developing Power BI reports, perform data analysis, and discovery based on business requirements. Experience in developing SSRS reports and data warehouse design is a plus. The participant will also participate in scrum meetings and daily standups to provide status of work items.

Job functions:

Develop custom Power BI reports and dashboards by leveraging data from Oracle and Dataverse

Establish configurations to have Power BI reports pull data from environment specific endpoints such as Oracle and Dataverse

Experience working with various connectors such as dataverse, oracle, Azure blob storage, and Azure SQL

Develop calculations, metrics, and data refreshes from source to reflect near real-time data

Experience working with data gateway and integration with AD for necessary access

Develop, publish, schedule reports, and dashboards to meet business requirements

Assist business users on functional and data requirements to enhance data models

Establish role based access controls on reports by integrating with AD security groups and implement row-level security on data by leveraging security layer models in Power BI

The Artificial Intelligence & Data Engineering team leverages the power of data, analytics, robotics, science and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, generate insights, and inform decision-making. Together with the Strategy practice, our Strategy & Analytics portfolio helps clients transform their business by architecting organizational intelligence programs and differentiated strategies to win in their chosen markets.

Artificial Intelligence & Data Engineering will work with our clients to:

Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms.

Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions.

Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements.

Required skills, knowledge, and abilities include:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field

5-6 years development experience in reporting technologies such as SSRS and Power BI

Self-starter with ability to explore and understand existing systems for the data that is required to develop Power BI reports and dashboards

Good communication skills and must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the project team

Hands on experience in integrating Power BI with Microsoft cloud technologies such as Dynamics 365, O365 AD, and Microsoft Azure SQL instances

Embed and deploy Power BI reports in Dynamics 365 solutions

Strong experience of SQL and RDBMS concepts

Project experience of working in an agile environment with deliveries in tight timelines

Knowledge of using Azure DevOps for user stories and using repos for storing necessary configuration files and reports

SSRS Reporting knowledge or hand-on experience is a big plus

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Travel up to 10% annually

Must be able to obtain a government public trust or secret clearance or higher

Must live or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance to one of the following cities:

1.Lake Mary, FL (Orlando area)

2.Mechanicsburg, PA (Harrisburg area)

3.Gilbert, AZ (Phoenix area)
