Job Description: Senior WordPress Developer

Gain America Inc, a leading technology company, is seeking a Senior WordPress Developer to join our team in Trenton, NJ. This is a long-term contract position with a hybrid work model.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain WordPress websites from scratch
  • Port WordPress sites from development environment
  • Customize various WordPress plugins like Elementor, UpdraftPlus, and Yoast
  • Edit and manage media content including photos, videos, and audio
  • Design creative web pages with a focus on aesthetics and user experience
  • Collaborate with business units to understand and capture requirements
  • Design wireframes and user interfaces
  • Ensure website performance, security, and responsiveness

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SEO best practices
  • Familiarity with web hosting environments and domain management
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git
