Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Principal Technical Program Manager to manage multiple delivery workstreams across their Enterprise Technology team. Their team helps build and manage tools that allow our client to make faster, more effective, and better-informed business decisions. This is an excellent role for someone with deep experience in program management, who is passionate about technology. Risk, dependency, and attention to detail super powers are essential for role success.

What you’ll be doing?

 

As the Principal Program Manager, you’re responsible for driving delivery. Our client's team works
with internal customers and stakeholders directly, and will be looking for your strong program
management and proactive leadership to help them achieve their goals.

? Setup, manage and track the detailed project milestones for multiple Enterprise Technology
delivery teams using tools (Jira Software, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, Confluence,Atlas)
? Plan and track OKRs in collaboration with Product Managers and Engineering Managers
? Articulate business value, functional and architectural concepts to a variety of audiences,
including business stakeholders, architects and senior management through regular status
updates, team blogs and quarterly business reviews
? Run and facilitate the company plays for the Enterprise Technology teams (Health monitors,retrospectives, roles and responsibilities) Team Playbook - Build strong teams with Plays
? Minimum 6 years of project/program management experience with a focus on technology
? Experience in leading/prioritizing product roadmaps and effective partner engagement
? Experience forecasting and tracking multi-million dollar budgets
? Ability to manage software and staffing vendors
? Experience using tools, especially Jira Software, Jira Advanced Roadmaps and
Confluence
? Experience working with cross-functional and cross-geo teams to track projects (dependencies,
risks and issues) across the organization
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for using it to drive engagement
and collaboration with Management, Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers through
meetings, status updates, and internal blogs.
? Attention to detail with agility to handle competing priorities and ambiguity
? Scrum master experience is a plus
