Position Summary

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team. If you have an accounting degree and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will help our accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Record and reconcile sales from POS system to the accounting software
  • Maintain physical and cloud-based filing systems with the corresponding backup for all entries - invoices, payments, journal entries etc.
  • Assist with processing weekly in flow of data, including invoices, payments, and reporting
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Systems

  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures - - preferred but not required
  • QuickBooks Online - preferred but not required
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to organize and prioritize effectively
  • Attention to detail with exceptional level of accuracy
  • Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic
