Back End Software Developer (Node.js)
The Back-end Software Developer will be working on developing new products as well as implementing projects relevant to all services and business areas of the business.
**This opportunity is 100% REMOTE**
Qualifications
- Experience with scripting and or Object-Oriented languages: JavaScript (Node.js), Python, and Java preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in software development. If less than two (2) years of experience, then relevant technical abilities using the preferred technologies listed would be acceptable.
- Experience with Cloud Computing providers (AWS Preferred)
- Experience in a healthcare or healthcare support industry is strongly desired
- Experience with using one or more relational and non-relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, Redis, etc.)
- Ability to translate requests and questions into executable code, customize queries or code as needed to adjust for data quality and other known issues within databases
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN)
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine Application Programing Interfaces (APIs) in Node.js and accompanying tests.
- Manage and deploy key pieces of infrastructure in Amazon Web Services using an Infrastructure-as-Code approach.
- Design and develop innovative software solutions that solve tough challenges through automation and improved efficiency.
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code.
- Provision RDS, PostgreSQL & Aurora databases in AWS
