Java Full Stack Developer Job Description

We are currently seeking a Java Full Stack Developer with expertise in Angular 13 or above for a long-term opportunity based in various locations including New York, NY; Pittsburgh, PA; Jersey City, NJ; Lake Mary, FL; and Merrill Lynch, NJ. This position will require the developer to work onsite.

Job Role:

The Developer role demands a self-driven and motivated individual with experience in designing and developing enterprise-level distributed Java applications using Spring, REST services, and microservices. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to engage with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements, breakdown complex tasks into user stories, and ensure the successful release and deployment of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Java-based applications using Angular, Spring, and Spring Boot
  • Implement REST APIs, microservices, and ensure high application performance levels
  • Participate in software development lifecycle activities including coding, testing, implementation, and documentation
  • Contribute to maintaining software functionality, updating technical debt, and staying current with industry trends
  • Collaborate with team members by actively engaging in code reviews and providing technical support as needed

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience as a Java Full Stack Developer with proficiency in Angular 13 or above
  • In-depth knowledge of Core Java concepts, Spring, REST APIs, and related technologies
  • Familiarity with multithreading, collections, JMS, and Hibernate
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka, MQ, SQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
  • Expertise in the payment domain and cloud-native architecture
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and SDLC tools such as Maven and Git
  • Proficiency in testing tools like Junit, Selenium, Mockito, and Cucumber
