New York State of Health (NYSoH) is the official health plan marketplace for New York State, established under Executive Order No. 42. The Software Architect will support the ongoing design, development, and operation of large-scale IT systems that support enrollment goals and comply with federal and state laws, including the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Medicaid regulations. The role requires close collaboration with NYSoH program staff, vendors, and executive stakeholders.

 

Job Description

 

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 84 months of experience designing, developing and supporting child welfare applications under the SACWIS or CCWIS federal regulations.                             
  • 72 months experience developing applications using VB.NET and .net framework 4.0 or above.                               
  • 72 months experience developing applications using WPF.                         
  • 72 months experience developing applications using WCF.                        
  • 72 months experience developing applications using the MVC, MVVM, or similar patterns.                                 
  • 84 months experience using ODP.NET, SQL, PL/SQL, writing stored procedures, functions, packages in minimum version of Oracle 10g or higher.                                   
  • 72 months experience performing regression and integration testing.                                 
  • 60 months experience writing unit tests using Rhino Mocks.
