Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Client's project's objective is to modernize, transform, and run Spirit's critical IT infrastructure. Our approach meets this objective by dividing activities into four pillars. The first two pillars are transformation and infrastructure operations. The other two pillars are Optimization and AMS which are additional levers that Spirit can pull to increase the value of the program and to help self-fund transformation.
Assesses and diagnoses a problem analyzing the interactions between key drivers
Defines clear business objectives and desired outcomes to guide own work and the work of others
Understands tools and methodologies related to the design, configuration, building and testing of application functionality
Understands how to design, configure, build, and test application functionality
Understands technology fundamentals, including architectures, data modeling, and application development lifecycle
Translates business needs into associated technical requirements and understands solutions that will incorporate these requirements
May independently own a work stream, reviewing, and potentially directing the work of more junior staff
Develops solutions to client problems through application of methods and tools; validates solutions to subject matter experts
Demonstrates accountability and contributions to the successful realization of client goals
Identifies and solves problems using analysis, experience, and decision making

Foundry Services: Operate services providing flexible, recurring resource capacity for client initiatives, projects, tasks, and enhancement
Managed Services: Operate services that provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT/Engineering applications & products
Qualifications
Required
6-8 Years of experience in Network Engineering
Network Administrator Job Responsibilities:
Assist in network design and implementation.
Provide network support with a variety of operating systems.
Install and configure computer network equipment.
Ability to configure and deploy SD WAN Meraki solution
Experience working and configuring FortiGate and vMX deployments
Experience working and administering Checkpoint firewalls
Site to Site VPN connectivity maintenance and troubleshooting VPN related issues
Manage corporate wide network with a mix of MPLS, WAN and Point to point links
Maintain servers and associated hardware, applications, services, and settings.
Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources.
Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up.
Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.
Monitor network to ensure optimal performance.
Create and maintain network users/permissions.
Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility.
Create technical support documentation for systems and applications.
Required:
Network Administrator Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
6-8 years' experience in network administration role
Corporate network environment exposure and understanding
Proven network engineering, network operations, and network performance analysis skills
Hands-on technical troubleshooting capabilities
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
Knowledge of computing infrastructures
Familiarity with server management and monitoring tools
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preffered:
Certifications:
CCNA, CCNP, CCSE a plus
MCSE certification a plus
Previous experience with Cisco switches and routers preferred
Previous experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 preferred
