Job Description: Java with GraphQL Developer

We are seeking a Senior GraphQL Developer with over 8 years of experience to join our team at Gain America Inc for a project with a large client in the insurance domain.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain GraphQL APIs for customer applications.
• Collaborate closely with both front-end and back-end development teams to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
• Contribute to the seamless user experience through well-crafted APIs.
• Work within a dynamic team with a product development mindset to contribute to the development of enterprise-wide solutions.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with HTTP and REST architecture.
• 2+ years of experience working as a GraphQL Developer on multiple projects.
• Proficiency in GraphQL query language and schema design.
• Knowledge of GraphQL server frameworks and tools like AWS AppSync, Apollo Server, and Prisma.
• Strong skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with REST-based APIs and understanding of HTTP and SOAP protocols.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as AWS Lambda, AWS DynamoDB, AWS S3, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Capability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile SCRUM development environment.
• Passion for learning new technologies and contributing innovative ideas.
